  1. I hold the correct valid licence for the vehicle I selected, will be the only rider and will carry no more than one passenger where the vehicle is registered for one.
  2. I will obey Queensland road rules, wear an approved motorcycle helmet and ride only where legally permitted.
  3. I will use 91, 95 or 98 unleaded fuel only—never E10—and return the scooter clean with a full tank. A $50 cleaning fee applies if dirty. Refuelling is $10 plus fuel at $2.50 per litre.
  4. I will remain within 50 km of the hire location, will not enter NSW and consent to GPS tracking.
  5. I will park legally and securely, never on a footpath, and use the supplied locks whenever the scooter is parked.
  6. I will promptly report any accident, theft, breakdown or damage, notify police when required and provide any required written report within 24 hours.
  7. I will pay the $250 security bond and all hire charges in advance. The bond may be used for amounts I owe, and late or failed payments may attract the applicable fee.
  8. I understand hire is $119 per week for ongoing hire or $17 per day for fixed-date hire, with a seven-day minimum. Selected Excess Reduction and a second helmet each cost $10 per week, prorated by day for fixed-date hire. I will give at least seven days notice before return and pay any hire charges due, including selected extras. There is no refund or credit for early return or unused hire time, except where required by law.
  9. I will pay all tolls, fines and infringements, plus an administration fee of up to $100 for each event.
  10. I understand CTP covers personal injury only. Comprehensive cover applies only when I comply with the Hire Agreement.
  11. For theft or an at-fault accident, I will pay a $1,250 excess, or $500 if I purchased Excess Reduction and fully complied with the Hire Agreement. No excess applies when I am confirmed not at fault.
  12. My liability is normally capped at the applicable excess unless an insurance exclusion or material breach applies. Where I am liable for repairs, parts are charged at retail and labour at $150 per hour in 15-minute blocks, subject to the applicable cap.
  13. I will pay for tyre punctures or damage excluding fair wear and tear, and any towing, recovery or storage costs for which I am responsible.
  14. I will pay replacement fees for lost items: key/lockset $250, wheel lock $50 and helmet $150.
  15. I will make the scooter available for servicing when due. A $150 fee applies for every 500 km overdue. At 1,000 km overdue, the hire ends without a refund.
  16. I will declare food-delivery use before using the scooter for deliveries.
